Too funny, stuckfly! I grew up just east of Walla Walla and the Elbonian-ness of that general area was the first thing that came to mind :-)

Funny, I recently moved to Walla Walla, WA (which in the native tribe lingo means 'water-water', or 'land of many waters', or judging by the editorials here, 'cry me several rivers'). The locals do often wear funny hats, walk around in mud, and govern the area much like Elbonia...

War isn't funny - many Elbonians will be horribly maimed, lose their beards or will die from evil software and many Americans will get mud in their noses and ears and fingernails - the horror, the horror - I'm covering eyes now - tell me when it's over - has it started yet?
